i am trying to help a friend of mine locate a cat. looking in the mid to upper 25 foot range, turnkey, preferrably with a blower motor that already runs 100, looking in the $50,000 range
any help would be appreciated, i figured someone on these boards has to have what he's looking for
thanks, robert

i saw one for 70k advertised in the back section of this montyhs powerboat mag.....but seriously i think we'd all love a turn key 100+mph cat for 50k:idea: :pig_flyi: :D :D

actually if you go back about three months into cats and tunels there was a boat there thats is really clean looking. WPM Racing 23' footer with 575hp 113 mph. the guy wanted just over 50k. the details could be off cuase that was a while ago but close i'm sure. don't know if it's already sold or not.

They are out there if you know where to look, have the time and money. A good friend of mine just bought a 1998 25 Daytona with a blown Teague 509, IMCO and the works. It is good for 110 + and he does not know how far past 110 it will go yet. HE got it for 52K and has 115K in reciepts from the guy he bought it from.
They are around, timing is everything.

People are dumping them before they're uninsurable. Kinda like a pricey game of hot potato. ;)

Saw a 2000 or 2001 Howard Cat in the Orange County Boat Trader with a Blosdale motor in it. Don't know if it was blown or not...looked like a killer deal.
