Has anybody had any luck with the Eagle stroker kits on ebay or are they just a 100lbs of junk.

As long as you are willing to have the crank turned 10/10 to be safe you will be allright. With the import stuff you have to measure and re-measure.

Call Brian Adams,
He deals in SCAT stroker stuff and is in tight with the manufacturing facility. He is not Fly-By-Night nor does he sell blems. He will probably beat any price you can find on Ebay that is a quality product.
The nice thing about SCAT over the other manufacturers is that they finish-machine their cranks in the USA.
This is not to say that Eagle is not a good choice. As CStraub posted above, be sure to carefully check all dim's (not just your machine shop, but you measure too).

I agree with lakes on Brian, he is a customer of mine and he takes the time to help the racer get what he needs, not what he doesn't.

I spend a fair bit of time on the 385 forum, Brian has many happy customers on the forum, never heard a single negative comment about him. I will be buying my Scat kit from Brian based on this.

I put together a 557 kit from the Mustang Depot last year. the kit cost $1,468. It seems ok to me but it only has a small hydraulic cam and home-ported c-9 heads. it does have high compression though. It must be around 600 hp since it turns a AA impellor in a jet up to about 5400 rpm. I just finished another one that has a solid roller cam with CJ heads and I plan to use nitrous on it after it is dialed in in a new boat.
