Do you guys think that since every manufacture is offering canopys that it is getting played out like spinners. I personally think they look better with out. I'm sure if I was back east driving the boat in the snow then I might want them but canopys on a V I dont think looks very well.
What do you guy's think?

I think that the canopys sit to high on the deck and they look like frog eyes. Do you think they should have to styles. The traditioinal fighter jet canopys and then a low pro style. maybe only slightly higher then a regular wind sheild but raps around like a canopy.

I like them both. Was not a fan of the canopies but they have grown on me.

If you have ever been in a canopy boat at high speeds for any length of time...you'll never go back.

I don't really care for them. Kinda reminds of bug deflector's.:p But I know they do serve a good purpose with high speed boat's and in colder climates.

Can of Peas?
I think they are cool if your boat does 80 mph plus. Otherwise that's silly.

When they first came out, I didn't like them. But now I think they look really cool!

If I had a boat that had canopys on it I would not complain. Since I can't afford a boat with them on I will settle for the wind burn. :D

They appear practical for high speed runs. But the looks has not grown on me at all! :p

Those canopies look like a great place to heat up your lunch!

I like some, and I don't like others. I can see a point at 100+ but I personally like the rush with the wind killing my face :D

Speaking of canopies, does anyone know if the 27 daytona canopies actually work. I think they get those from the Ranger Bass Boats surplus store:D

RD Kind of like that but rapped around like the dual canopys. Take the new 27 Daytona or 36 or whatever and make it the height of that nordic windsheild. I think it would be more practical for havasu and would look a little cleaner.
All the newer cats are designed to be low profile boats but then they throw on a tall canopy and kind of ruins the look. Makes them look like an older skater.

Don't like them on pleasure boats unless they're necessary...such as sustained speeds of 120+ when the wind is attempting to rip your face off. I like the single canopy style on race boats and poker run models like the Gibson Exhaust MTI

Here is some advice...Don't buy a boat with canopies.
Someone must like them if there are a few manufacturers that sell them.
