Is it a 2500 or 1500? You can probably go to 32" maybe 33" - depends.

It is a 1500..........I was looking at the BF Goodrich 285/65/18 AT's?

They should fit, but it will be a little tight (read: you will rub when you turn and suspension compresses) - your gas mileage is going to be a bit worse as well.
For example, I am running 285 on my 2500HD and I had to put in new torsion keys to lift the front so they would clear and trim some fender underneath the truck.
I would go with a 265 or 275 if I was you. On a 4x2, those will look a lot cleaner and work a lot better.

Thanks Light..........I think you are right about that.

I put 285 65 R16s on my K2500 suburban. No problems with fit at all. The 2x4 will have a lot less room in the wheel wells though. I think the 265 is probably about right.......just guessing at it.

I have 2002 tahoe with 22 rims. They are 305/40/22. They fit tight. But the left front tire rubs on the washer fluid case. You could probably go with 18's with 32's.
