I got most of the motor together. I think it looks pretty good so far......:D

Hey big guy, I hate to tell ya, but I THINK your valve covers are backwards! LOL No wait, that's the right way, BACKWARDS is the right way! So confusing! LOL:D

Thats is the correct way. My nieghor was already over and said turn that valve cover around.......:wink:

Hey Dan,
Those are some wild valve covers. What is it, front is back or back is front or or or. I'm tired now, have to go take a nap and think about all this.
I sure hope you checked the piston to valve clearance before you put that monster together?

I clayed the motor a couple times. I had about a 1/4 inch of clay and those puppys never touched.....:D I will take it real easy on it for the first 15 seconds....:p Then its HammerDown....:wink: Sorry Ray!!!!;)

Sorry I've been out of the loop! What cam did you put in your motor? Is that a B&M blower? What are your final specs?

Motor is a 454 +.030, Ported 990 heads, B&M 250 Blower, Steel Crank, Dimple Rods, TRW Forged Blower Pistons, and cam is a 575, 600- 245 255 duration.

Well the plan is to put it in my Nordic Flatty. As far as Anna I wouldn't be waiting down by the boat launch with your camera......;)
