my 11 year old's poem

My Boat
It's the baddest one in town,
I don't have a frown.
It has the best colors,
said Irma my mother.
It's party time at the river,
I can feel it down to my liver. (easy she's 11)
It's gonna be really fun,
Out in the hot sun.
We'll be going to the sandbar,
In our boat,not in our car.
Dad, please do not sell it,
DON'T think about it not one bit.
how I wish i was there right now,
to feel the water with my toe.
We camp by the lake,
not having an ache.
This is a great family treat,
even if we are in 123 degrees heat!!!!!!!!
