While on my way to Cat Tail Cove yesterday, a pickup flew past me and just at the right time a piece of ply wood flew out of the back of the bed and hit me passinger windshield and blew it to smithereens.
To add insult to injury, I just had the boat professionally detailed and now there are billions of glass shards and glass dust everywhere.:p It hit so hard the whole Jeep and boat felt like it hit a wind shear. I wonder why they don't put safety glass on boats??? I will be vacuuming for years.:( The clown was long gone to get a plate number as well,:yuk:

As you can see the window is completely gone and the frame is all bent. Took out a piece of gelcoat too.

They put tempered glass so it will break into little itty bitty pieces that will cause less injury than a large guillotine sized piece.

That really sucks.. how could he not notice that.. what a focker.. I'm surprised nobody chased his ass down . without a boat on there car..
sorry to see this but just be glad it wasn't on your windsheild.. you would have probably lost more then just a window.. glad you are o.k though.. think of it that way..;)

Well first the shock of "What the hell wazzat?" had to wear off then we realized what happened and by then the guy was gone......he prolly didn't even know it hapended.
The back seat.........also forgot to mention that yesterday was also the day we took our new dog on the boat for the first time.........so we had to keep him out of the back all day. Try that with a hyper 4 month old Siberian Husky!:D
