I have a 1979 Checy short bed I want to sell. Where is the best place to advertise it? I tried going to auto trader online but the oldest year itgoes to is 1984 or something close to that. Any ideas?

Is this a custom truck or just stock? I will check with my Auto Trader Rep and see if they still have their older car guide online. I will p.m. with what I find.

Try www.la.traderpub.com and click on the antique and custom magazine. Even if your truck is stock this is a good marketing source for people looking for older vehicles.
Good luck!!

Try the Recycler (http://www.recycler.com) I have had good luck selling used bikes through there.
I'm sure that the Auto Trader will list your rig, too. I suggest calling them, I agree their web site makes it a challenge to find or sell older cars.
Good Luck

Dmb--No I don't work for the Trader, I am a new/used car dealer that spends too much $$$ with the Trader advertising every month so I have access to info that isn't readily avail.
Good luck on your truck!!!
