I bought a 454 BBC and am looking throught the parts, someone has been there before. ARP everything, Manley pushrod guides ect....
My pistons are stamped on the top with L2346 060
My guess is that the 060 stands for bored 60 over.
There is also a triangle with a letter T in the center of it.
Is there any way to tell the manufacturer or if they are cast or forged?
Thanks:cool:

Look at the parting line, narrow=cast, wide=forged.

Those are Federal Mogul Speed Pro Powerforged pistons for a 454. Catalog lists them as having a .210" dome. Compression varies from 10:1 with 119cc chambers to 11.8:1 with 100 cc chambers.
You can get more info by going to the Federal Mogul catalog search: Federal Mogul Search (http://www.21cgt.com/FMWebCatalog/default.htm)
