Hey, I was going to post a testing for our Banks lake weekend. Five new boats for 2004 tested on our triangular oval in Osborn Bay near Electric City Washington. That is if you included my new Sanger. We had a Pro Stock Pontiac Cole runner that turned well, an early Lavey with too much power or not enough pedal, the imfamous Fred Wickens #1 boat returned with new power and boy does that pedal less boat turn hard, a 1976 Schiada newbe showed with 496 injected power but struggled all day with starter problems and then finally on Sunday a Scat rod end spit loose! Ouch, the owner stated that now he knows the hull doesnt leak since only water droplets clung to its bottom side instead of Castrol! What a positive guy! I couldnt get that gull wing Sanger to turn without a lot of sliding and leaping down the straight, help, anyone have experience? Or am I just used to the best turning boat of all time, a Lavey? Thanks to all the flat bottom guys who helped pay all expenses so that 40 others only had to buy gas to get there! Wow what great weather! Water was cool and smooth and 80 degrees of sun! Sunbanks Resort, we'll be back there June 19 for the Reunion Race if anyones in the area! It's FREE! :)
