Did some searching and found the picture of the ski pole I'm interested in, looks to be on a BBC - take a look:

Any idea where I can get my hands on one of these babies?

The ski pole itself most likely came out of a mastercraft ski boat. Looks just like the one in my old ski boat from years back. It mounted directly into the floor in a cup socket. Looks like someone took the same type pole and fabricated a bracket to mount it to the back of the engine. But I am mostly sure that ski pole is out of a mastercraft ski boat or ski nautique.

Yeah, they have it at Dana alright. SEE IT HERE (http://www.danamarineproducts.com/store.cfm?CatId=14&group_id=2&CFID=42354&CFTOKEN=19657797) But it is only a mere $776.25 for it:eek:

I have a buddy of mine that took that same ski tow off his boat two years ago. It's sitting in his garage gathering dust and I know he's hurting for dough. Let me know if you're interested. I bet he'd take a hundred for it in a heartbeat.
It came off a BBF but it'd be easy enough to retro-fit and make it work. After all it's just aluminum.

Thanks a TON, Dan - check it out and let me know ASAP - Thanks again!
:) :) :) :) :)
BBT and Bitz - thanks for the info - yep, that's pricey, all right - PHEW!!!!:D Also, doesn't look like that one is real easily removable, with all that bracing and stuff in there, that's why I liked the one I saw, real clean and simple - thanks again! :)

that set up looks like it's for a v drive. That in a jet boat could be hard on the scoop & carbs don't you think.
It looks kick ass but it's on the wrong end of the engine I'm thinkin.
