No matter how careful I am, I still fry myself from time to time. Went to the trouble of buying and wearing those fingerless 'Mechanix' protective forearm sleeves for working on a hot motor and now when wearing them the only time I touch hot headers is with the exposed part of my thumb and still burn myself.
Burnt forehead must of been a laugh. Saw a rookie racer sizzle his chin once while checking his oil, he let out the funniest squawk I've ever heard come from a grown man. Skin was stuck to the ceramic coating and it took quite a while to heal properly.
I Don't know why other peoples misfortunes amuse me so much, but that one still cracks me up.

Bad habits of resting body parts on them in the off season is a big contributor.
