The Bluewater trim indicator in my boat is sticking. It reads correct when trimming in, but is slow to read correct when trimming out. It will eventually read correct, but is very slow to respond. Is there something in the actuator that needs lubricating from time to time, or is there any other maintenance that is required? I don't have any paperwork on it, and don't want to just tear apart the actuator without asking first.
Thanks,
Rick

Are there Springs on the cables to help with
the return, A lot of people never put them
on.
Ask Bill when you call him for a set if they
are not installed.

Took it apart today, looks like it needs a new cable. Where the cable passes through the thru-hull fitting, the sheath is cracked.

Just a tip on the cables, if you have any tight bends use the 33C supreme series as they work much easier than the standards under tight bend conditions. We have if you need just hollar.

Thanks a lot, I will be calling you. The cable has a fairly tight radius where it exits the transom, and goes to the actuator. I will measure the cable next time out to Havasu, and fingure out what to order.
Do you offer bezels for the Bluewater gauges?

I sent you a PM on the bezel. When you measure the cable it's overall length on the 33c's.
