Dooley scoop......................bolt it on.
Velocity stacks.....................bolt em on.
Way too big ol honkin fiberglass doghouse scoop.
bond the mounting rails for pan. Sand, sand, sand, fix the seams, sand sand sand, wipe down, tack cloth, prime (which goes to shit for some reason) sand all the primer back off which wants to roll into little balls and load up the sand paper, rather than just sand off like it's supposed ta.
I'm beginning to understand why painters get paid so well.

Hotrod saw the problems I was posting about on the board last night. He pm's me and says "I got the stuff to fix your problem, and I can swing by in the morning." What a guy. 8:30 am he pulls up with his boat in tow, drill and bits in hand. 1/2 hour later and we were in business. Many thanks Rod.
Now that's cool.

Got the intake swapped out alright after running the tap through it for my bassett T adapter. It went pretty well and for once I didn't screw up the silicone on the ends. I almost always end up with too much, or not enough. Linkage arrived (holy smokes there's like 50 pieces to the thing and no instructions). Gotta love it.

If you have the side mounted kit from Summit (Weiand) and need the instructions, I can scan them and post them. Let me know. Just takes a few minutes.

I ordered mine from BDS but I'm not sure who actually manufacturers it.
Here's a picture of it.

Even if it's close it'd probably be a tremendous help and I really appreciate the offer Cole. I'd take it, if you can find the time to do it up.
I really can't believe that there wouldn't be any kind of instructions/documentation included with the kit.
Maybe that's why they only charge $99 for it. I bet they laugh just a little........every time they send one out.

That's an Enderle set up. I bought the same set up from Good Vibes Racing.
Here's a couple of pics of it assembled:

I can take a couple of better shots for you tomorrow if you want. The linkage kind of got lost when the pictures were sized down :( .

Hey John the boat's lookin great. I thought it was enderle but wasn't for sure. You've got the blower kit. Mine's for a Tunnelram. Similar but not the same.
I got mine from Good Vibratons too. Did yours come with instructions?
I see they have a tech line. I may just have to give em a call on Monday and see if they can send me something out.

I just looked at what I got. It is just a parts break down, but I can't find the instructions. Here is what I have. I will look for the actual instructions and post them if I can find them. Sorry the picture is so big and on it's side. I hate the photo editor I have.

Here it is a little smaller. If anyone else needs it larger, let me know.

Thanks Cole. I got the picture and saved it on my harddrive. If you want, you can edit your post and take it down. It's got a lot of the same parts, but again, not exactly the same. I've got one strange piece with like two little cams on it. Not sure what the heck that thing is for. Don't see any means of anchoring the cable jacket either. Not sure if that's up to the end user or what.
Thanks very much for putting that up. At least I have an idea of what it's supposed to look like.

I dont have any experience setting this type of linkage up but it looks like it works the same way my linkage worked on my dual carb bug!

Dan, I can't tell what the little dealio with the cams on it is for. You should be able to figure out everything else from the parts breakdown and the above photo. My kit did not come with a cable clamp, so I made my own. Good Vibes does carry a clamp, although it's not the prettiest thing. You can call Jim at Good Vibes and he'll set you up. If I can help in any way, let me know.
Good luck with your t-ram!

Dan,
The cams are used to locate the base to the tunnel ram. Hack job might have some close ups of his, but basically, rotate the cams until the angles meet up with the side of the tunnel ram, then tighten the set screw for each cam. It helps to keep that bottom piece that houses the first shaft to rotate the upward linkange arm from moving around.
As far as the cable clamp, you're on your own as its not supplied in the kit.

Thanks for all the help guys. notfastenuf, I went and checked out the photo area and Phil (FoMoCo) doesn't have any pictures of his setup. I've got his email addy so I'll see if he will send me one.
Chris, sometimes I'm as dense as a rock. By your description I'm still having trouble figuring out the cam piece. At least I know I've got the proper kit, and that piece should be in it though.
Got the base coat sprayed on the scoop.
Prep work could've been better.

Thanks Dan,
I've got some sanding scratches that are showing through. I thought I had gotten it smooth enough, but should've gone to a finer grit and probably wet sanded it after that. It needs to be wet sanded and another coat so I'm hoping it'll fill some of that stuff in. I used a gray primer and the orange had some trouble covering it (should've used white primer instead). It's not terrible, but far from professional. On a good note, you can't see the seam where they put to two pieces together. It fits in with the 20 footer thing so it matches the rest of the boat.

Squirtcha? here is the link to FOMOCO's pics if he has not emailed you yet. I can not log into hot boat pics for some reason so that I can post the pics.

Aw dude! I owe ya big time. That was a major help. Pictures truly are worth a thousand words (especially for me). Thanks a bunch, I really appreciate it. Now I'm ready to go to work.
I can honestly say, I don't think I would've figured that out without dem photos (even after Chris tried to describe it).

he dan, where did you disappear to yesterday? i turned around and you had evaporated??? couldn't hear a thing with that engine running :( sorry we didn't get to finish talking...
hope you get your linkage all figured out...

Hey bp. Sorry about that. I was gonna run next door and shoot the stuff with Brad for a bit. I noticed you were pretty serious about packing, also overheard you tell Jack you wanted to get going so's you'd get back at a semi-reasonable hour. I didn't wanna hold ya up.
By the time I got done jabjawing with Brad, the boys had been unattended in the stands for an hour and a half or so. They can do plenty of damage in that amount of time, so I figured I should go ride roughshod on em.
We'll catch ya next time you're in town for sure. You and Mike can come over to the house and we can sit and relax (without the zoomies)
As far as the linkage thing goes, notfastenuf got me all setup there. The only thing I wasn't getting is the bottom piece of linkage/brackets. The pictures cleared that right up.

Here's a good picture of linkage from 396's post from the drags, doesnt look like the same linkage but gives you the idea.

Squirtcha? No need to thank me FOMOCO is the one to thank. I didn’t know what the cams where for the first time I put mine together and it is hard to get a clear picture in your head when someone explains it at least it was for me. It’s looking good I’m curious to see how much you gain with the new setup.

Phil shot the photos and for that I thank him. You were the one that guided my lostass to em though.
According to Desktop Dyno this setup should be good for an additional 43 hp, if I can get to 5500 rpm without having my impeller cut down. Not sure how it'll translate speed-wise but I'm hoping for a solid 80+ without the nitrous.
I'll be happy then and stop this nonsensical quest for $peed.
Yeah right!

on mine, we ran the cable between the carbs to make it easier to move. there's plenty of room in there.
