I know someone on this site lost an outdrive this weekend. However, I am not going be the one to totally rat him out.
Btw, I grenaded mine two weeks ago (lol).

It could of been me maybe, OK so it was me, I was doing 60 when she let go, I cracked the lower case and everything.... Is it time for a number "6". I want to say thanks to all the people who stopped to help, all DCB'ers, except for Jim who was doing in the 140's when he went by me on the tow. Some guy in an Delaminator was taking pictures, so I am sure we will see them soon.

Sorry about your drive. I really think a#6 though is kind of overkill. If you need anything, let me know.

Time to hit up the "TFB Motorsports" sponsor?

It is time to use some TFB stock, I don't know if you would call what I did flying by the sand bar, my top speed for the weekend was only 70, and that was five minutes prior to breaking the drive, HP is 800.
thanks HH for the love, any bites on the Miss HH sale?

union.....saw you guys a few weekend back (poker run weekend) in the channel, your 26 looks great in the water! AND I can totally sympathize with you. I had to also get towed back in on a rope from up by the sandbar with a blown motor. Really sucks to get towed back in for a hour, thinking I WONDER HOW MUCH THIS IS GOING TO COST? what about a 4X4? arent they alot less expensive then a #6?

Sorry to say...she is gone. It was a sad day on Saturday (until I counted the money again).

Joey's had his boat out like 3 or 4 time's and he has not blown up the drive. That must be some kind of record for him. Are you going to take over the nickname of "The Drive Destructor"?

I hope I dont take it over

I belive Joey has trademarked the term "Drive Destructor". So we'll call U.J. "Taylor the Transom Trasher"

I towed in a nice HTM on Sunday afternoon with a broken prop shaft. The boat is blue with yellow orange flames.

Sorry to hear about your drive. I know how bad that sucks! I have had a couple of them go away on me, but never cracked a case. What drive are you running right now?

UnionJack
05-06-2004, 04:15 PM
I am running the IMCO SC, it just sucks to get 35 hours and lose it, but whatever.

that sucks big time....

Yep it sucks! My first drive lasted about 50 hours then the next two went within 4 hours of them being bolted to the back of the boat. Any idea what you are going to do? Will Imco stand behind the package or are you going to take a big hit?

Nice! I wish I could make it out that often, but not doing too bad right now. Hope this one holds up for you. Nothing worse than ending you weekend due to mechanical failure. I feel your pain!
