The Terrible's Chevron at I-40 was at $1.93 this weekend. I belive Pilot was a few cents cheaper. The new Terrible's in town was about the same price too.

Last weekend 100LL was up to 2.39 at Unocal, .12 more then super, go figure that out. I thought that Terribles had 100LL at 2.49 per gallon, but I could be wrong. They nailed me 2.30 per gallon for Diesel at the Pilot in Lenwood around Barstow. 85.00 to fill the PSD. I remember a year ago it was paying 40.00 to fill my old PSD. Bull shit if you ask me.

You wanna' see diesel get expensive...wait until October when Shell Oil closes the Bakersfield refinery which produces 6% of the diesel for California....

Actually it is produced before regular gas, or not refined as much as gas, however you want to say it. They can actually take diesel fuel and refine it more to make regular gas. In 2006 we will be using ultra low sulpher diesel which is going to cost more because the refineries had to add or completly revamp the refineries. Most have already done it though from what I have read. They need to recoup that money somehow and there is not nearly the amount of diesel fuel used as regular fuel, so I assume they need to get more from the little customers they have.
