To keep the blower on when it blows off:eek: I watched a top alchol boat blow the blower off and it went up and came back down. then it threw the belt off!! I post these pics so people can get an understanding on what the big doggs are running.

to warm up the motor on the trailer. Bucket has a bildge pump in it and it cycles the water through the motor, and you don't make a mess.

The 5-gallon bucket is used for the "water pick-up" for those engines (or cylinder heads) that use water for cooling...
In the case of the Top Fuel and Top Alcohol (including MOST Pro-Mod and some Pro-Eliminator) guys who use a "solid" block and/or "solid" cylinder heads, they do not run ANY water through their stuff...

And some guys don't run there motor at all and just have a little generator in the truck bed that connects to a heat prob in the oil pan, warming up the oil to there ideal temp. Right before the boat is launched, they unplug it.

Anytime brotha;) I'm glad I put names with faces. Oh and by the way, I am in love with that boat. That thing sounds and runs bitchin';) We will be there at the finals all 3 days;) Hell, I'm there every year:D :D Boy them tickets sure are exspensive:eek: But well wotrh it;)
