Toby, it does look close to the terminals. But for it to spark you would need for it to ground out. Just a little to close for my taste.

I use a Reactor Energy Cell battery. Everyone is surprised it starts my boat and I didn't run an alternator for two years. I can't get annother one yet until they stop sending them all to Iraq they are used in a lot of military vehicles. I think the billet holder and the less weight is worth the money but I buy a lot of stupid overpriced crap according to others.
