I work for Bechtel (now) building Wireless Telecom Networks. Currently working on AT&T Wireless' (soon to be Cingulars) network putting in two new technologies throughout the system and growing the sites for capacity. I have done this kind of technical project management for almost 20 years.

Sutura, we make arterial suturing devices mostly for the femoral artery but we are branching out. I would like to say more but because people have aggressively tried to steal our products design I'll stop here but the medical device field is a very exciting industry.

I was in the Navy for four years as an Aviation Electronics Technician. When I got out, I worked for a company by the name of Applied Materials as an Electronics Technician for four years on their Intel account. Currently I am working for a small semiconductor equipment remanufacture. It is a temp contract that is almost over. I am a full time student and will eventually (June 2006) earn my BSEE.

I work as a Title One Tutor at an Elementary School in Alta Loma California. The Title One program is part of President Bush's "No Child Left Behind" act. At our school I get to plan the lessons for my group of childern. Each school that qualifies for Title One runs their own programs differently. I work with 4 groups of 1st - 3rd graders, teaching them reading and writing. Children are recomended for our program if they test low on the BPST.I love my job because I get to work with small groups and see results right away. I work half day, so that leave time for being a mom/wife as well. I totally "lucked out" when I got this job. I only have an AA degree, and it is very hard to get hired in this school district.I plan on doing this until I am old and gray....(or brown and wrinkled, driving my boat)The best part about my job is the children I work with, and my schedule is "River Friendly".

They DO know everything.
This is such a big deal in our house, like a rite of passage. No more vests!!! When they were little they would get these awful rashes under their chins from the vests they had to wear all day (cause we were going in the boat all day) We just bought our youngest a neofream one, they are more confortable. Now they just have to wear vests when they tube...

My kids, who recently turned 13, were crazy about the idea of "NO MORE VESTS!!!", but guess what, they don't feel right without one on, so they still wear it! Kind of like not wearing a seatbelt I guess...just doesn't feel right...

Yesterday, I got to go golfing!
