John asked me to make a strut for him last week I thought
he would like to see progress. Its a low hp setup so I'm making it from 316 stainless.

Looks great Jeff.
You know times have changed when a strut like you are building for me is considered low HP setup. We used to run only bronze struts in the old days at over 100 mph and up to 120 mph. But that's all there was back then!
Thanks again Jeff, can't wait to get this boat in the water where it belongs!

Looks good Jeff. One of your HIGH HP struts is getting installed as we speak. :)

I hope to see that strut work this summer. We can celebrate the
construction!

schiada96,
What is the basic difference between a low performance SS strut and a high performance one?

Schiada96,
I would be interested in one of those stainless struts for my Spectra 24? Do you think it would work better than the stock
brass strut. Also, can a stainless fin be made for my boat?
How much would that cost to make?
