A few minutes ago I got an unexpected Mother's Day ungift ... yep my period. :rolleyes:
Two months previous in a row I posted about it because of bad cramps. This month very mild cramps. :cool: I considered not posting about this cuz it is kinda personal and many deem it TMI but I figured since I posted about it when I was having a bad time of it maybe it'd be alright to say this time it ain't so bad. :)
I suppose I could view the mildness as a gift. :D Happy Mother's Day to me ... :cool:

I remember this one time, I sat down to do some business but nothing seemed to happen. After a few minutes, I didn't really have to go anymore so I got up to leave. When I looked in the bowl, there was six inches of chocolaty goodness that I didn't even realize had made the leap.

I talked to my Mom today. She was reading a book about our family history. She told me our family is related to the Hallett's of central to western Canada. Which I thought was cool seeing as I love the Hallett 540-T so much. She also told me our family still has a castle in England. I shoulda asked her to spell it but it sounded like she said Ballsover Castle, lol which is why I even remember that part of the convo cuz it struck me as funny. :D
She told me something today I don't think she has ever told me before ... she told me I'm fantastic and special (I think she meant it the good way :confused: , lol). I was telling her about her grandson and she told me he reminds her a lot of me. Not so unusual- I hear that occasionally. ;) She reminded me how lucky parents are. That children give their parents strength to face things that they might throw in the towel on if not for the kids. She told me that her life was saved many times simply because she had me to live for. I guess I can relate to that. I'll be seeing my son in a few hours. I think today is a good day. :)
