I know it has been posted here before but I was finally run over by the Carlisle train. Lost 4 of them in one trip. Tire pressure was 65lbs and it wasn't hot on the road. $700 later, I am back in action. Stuck on the side of the road in Quartzite sucks. Those truckers have no problem buzzing the tower while you lay helplessly on the groung trying to change tires. If you have tires that say anything remotely close to Carlisle on them, Get rid of them now!!!!!!

Tony, you should call WW and let them know your problem. They might reimburst you for the tires.

I cringe when I hear these stories since I have 6 on my trailer.

I drug my trailer to Canada and back, to the river six times in the past year. I run them at 50 PSI and tow our <7000 lb boat & trailer at 90 MPH when I can and never had a lick of trouble with my tires.

Hey Guru, what size tire are you talking about? Do you know what size were involved in the other incidents with Carlilse?
I've got 205/70/14's Carlisle's on my trailer. They take 50psi. They're 2 years old and seem to be wearing well and I havent' had a problem. Tandem Trail Rite trailer.
