Looks like July is popular judging from the other thread. We have a huge party/potluck up around the gunsight area July 23-25. This year will be the 3rd annual "Luau" and everybody is welcome.

Deb, I will come down to Lone rock and find you and the gang. I should be able to spot your boat or we can set up a place to meet. You can follow me to the party if you like. We have not picked a spot for it yet, but it will be up lake alittle ways. I just got a new camera and hope to keep Powell pics rolling all summer.
I am on the lake 2-3 weekends a month from now till Oct so post your dates people. I would love to get a little tie-off party going on that lake. Seems you can never get everybody collected in the same spot.

I've been to Powell 6 of the past 7 years. So, I've been theree when the lake was at full pool as well as 90' down - last year. I can honestly say last year was our best trip yet. We had great beaches, and explored shorelines that were normaklly way under water. We had a great trip! Here's a few pics...

Reddy, It was somewhere up lake frome cookie jar but before last chance canyon. My map is in the boat so I cant say exactly. That pool was a few feet higher than the lake level at that time. Several of them in that area.

Hey Deez Nutts,
This is your neighbor, 22-Donzi. How's the new boat running? Mine is finally ready to go but has only touched the water at Lake Mary. :frown: I had to go out to Mary after I cooked my sea pump on the hose. I'm hoping to get up to Powell soon but it may not be til after Memorial Day. I'll keep the July trip in mind. We'll have to try and keep in touch a little more. I've been meaning to ask our in-between neighbor if they're still in the houseboat deal.

DEEZ NUTTS

DeepVee, I left the big boat in storage up in Page. Now I just throw a cooler in the truck and haul ass. We will be going up alot. I have quite a few hours on Mary with the black boat. The kyakers and canoeists had to hate seeing the blower boat backing down the ramp. What rpm would you pull out there? (about 6800' elevation for you others) You need to make the July trip its huge and I need a ride in your boat.
Oh yea, The Formula is awesome. 61mph gps on Powell with a full load of fuel and gear with the wrong props. Not bad for a 14 year old heavy pig. Cant wait to get some props on the way.

Deez Nutts,
I didn't have much time to run on Lake Mary plus my son was with me. Pretty much just did a few laps, checked everything out and put it back on the trailer.
We'll try to make the July trip. Are there many kids around on that trip? Looks like there were some in the pictures.
The Formula looks great. I've heard nothing but good things about their boats.
