Manganese Bronze Flatbar

I am going to attempt to have some plates welded to the barrel of my Manganese Bronze strut for my ski hydro. I am looking for some Manganese Bronze flatbar: 1 1/2" x 1/4" x 8" long. Anyone know where I can get this material...and know of a GOOD welder in the northbay (or Napa) area that would do it? Two engineers gave me the thumbs up today concerning the strength of this stuff. Thanks for any info.
