As much as dislike California I hate the weather here even more. Its cold and raining and I'm fed up. I am also really sick of my job. Regardless of the pay I'm tired of the job.
With this said...
I'm resigning from my job and moving back to Cali. I have enough saved up to get by for a few months but will need to find a job quickly because I dont want to kill my savings and I just hate being unemployed I feel worthless when I don't work.
Anyone know of a company looking for an outside or inside sales person? My background is in telecom but I'd like to get out of the industry. I have also considered going blue collar and running a mud pump.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Now Boozer you consistantly dog us here and you expect us to just forget about it and let you come home. j/k. They say industry is picking up here and it does appear to be turning around so give it a go. Good luck! v-drive

Move here to Sacramento or the Roseville area. It's affordable and
you'll be 100 miles from the ocean and 100 miles from the
mountains. We have more accessible lakes and rivers than
anywhere in California. You'll have to put up with smog in the summer.
But it's a secret so don't tell anyone.:D

Don't forget the high gas prices either. It cost me $70.00 to fill up
my truck and $50.00 to fill up my boat.
Make sure you get a raise to compensate.

Pay is most likely going to be a little less then 1/2 of what I make here for a brief time period but I have kept my living expenses low enough to to do that. I'll live with the old man rent free for a few while I get established.

Best of luck to you...it takes guts to decide you aren't happy where you are and make a move.
Hope it all works out for you!

It's a little drive to my office in San Bernardino but if you are looking for a different type of outside sales and own a few ties I can set up and interview with my company. Got a resume?
