we are going with twin 575's , it is a 29' DCB cat, top speed I beleive is 127 with the open bow.. unless we do chip, inter collers and something else it will do 140.. ;)

The gel looks GREAT! I am sure the pics don't do it justice. I remember when ours was at this stage. Sleepless nights and dreams of water. Oh what a feeling.

we won't be putting them up front while we are running it past the wake zone.. If I remember corrctly it is illegal to put a kid in the open bow while going over wake speed.. correct me if I'm wrong.. ;)

I'f officially correcting you.......... you can ride in an open bow
boat above wake speed..........
but I certainly let anyone ride upfront upwards of 50-ish MPH
though.... it's just not smart.......
--Sherpa
BTW, that is a very pretty boat.... with twins no less.....
dare I ask how much it's costing you-?
you can PM or email that if you do wish to even answer..
thanks,

That is truely georgous. Have hung around a lot of boat racers, offshore, circle, ski-race, marathon, etc. Have yet to ever meet one who would ride in an open bow at any speed. But you young people are a lot braver than us old timers ever were...
