1) Would you wear a Scottish Kilt?
2) Do you think men look sexy in kilts?
3) Do you think I have too much time on my hands?
:D

Kind of indifferent to kilts doesn't do a thing for me but it doesn't repulse me either.
If you have too much time on your hands then so do we all ... we're all here ... at least you participate and talk to people. :)

Not actually sure about wearing one but hey I hate clothes anyway.:D
P.S. Yes you have way too much time on your hands, of course I am also posting and voting so what does that say about me. :D

I'm betting Miller would or does enjoy them...my only real worry would be how to "reposition" your junk. Do you reach under and do the deed or just grab right thru the whole dress, oh I mean Kilt.:D

I don't find Mel Gibson to be all that attractive. He's okay looking but he doesn't make my hormones jump. William Petersen however does, holy hot damn! Whatta mighty fine man! :D

Debbolas

anyone out there ever wear a kilt?
(answer the above question please)

Sorta' for an annual party we called the Barbarian Feast years and years ago...everyone dressed in animal skins and furs like ancient barbarians and partied until we fell into a stupor. Something like 20 years ago. Next morning wasn't a pretty sight. The animal skins always looked better on the gals than the guys.

I attend the Scottish Highland games and they are a LOT of fun, great music, harps, bagpipes, singing & dancing, sheep shearing competition, border collies herding sheep, just don't eat the Haggis !
everyone all decked out, and the actual athletic games are amazing, 300lbs. guys in kilts throwing weird things, caper (looks like a telephone pole) the stones,& a 56lbs. weight on a chain, the sheef, like a bale of straw that they throw over a highbar with a pitchfork, and battleaxes too, lot's of family fun, but you see all types of people wearing kilts not just men, punk kids with doc martin boots, piercings, tatoos, blue hair and a kilt, on Sunday they have a church service and blessing o' the tartans and that brings out their finest outfits coat & ties with kilt,
on special events I have seen tuxedo jackets with a kilt, I like the tiny mini kilts on girls,

I think both kilts and the scottish food dish haggis were created on the same day. As part of a dare. I can see it now, "if you'll eat that sh!#, I'll wear a dress for the rest of my life".....;)

That line is from that movie, " I think all Scottish food was based on a dare" or something like that - Mike Myers....

Right off the top I'd have to say NO, they're not sexy. The majority off the time I see Kilts are during funerals for cops or firemen. The music the bagpipers play kills me though.
My only occasion seeing Kilts outside of these funerals was last St. Patricks Day at my restaurant. I'd had a few drinks by the end of the night, we had a pipe player playing for the guests.
You know when you have some drinks, and you're gettin a little loose? Well, I was getting really loose, starting staring at the man in a kilt..............and I must admit.................
He still wasnt' sexy to me :D

Q. Why do they call it a "kilt"?
A. Because a lot of people got kilt when they called it a skirt.
-----------------------------------
Q. What does a bagpiper wear under his kilt?
A. Shoes and socks.
----------------------------------
Bagpipes-(noun)-I understand the inventor of the bagpipes was inspired when he saw a man carrying an indignant, asthmatic pig under his arm. Unfortunately, the man-made object never equalled the purity of sound achieved by the pig.

Nope that line is much older than that movie (which I've never seen).
My little twist and attempt at humor is in my using the old joke about the food and combining it with the kilts... ;) Of course, someone else must have done that before me too. I just haven't heard it ....:D

Never wore a kilt, but did have an odd pair of Liederhosen as a kid. A gift from some German cousins. I was damn cute in them too.
I enjoy wearing a towel wrapped around my waist, and having my equipment hang free, but I think it would be a bit unbearable as an all day event. If your nuts bang around too much they start to hurt. :(

Being that I correlate "kilts" and "Liederhosen" with drinking beer (don't know why I do that) I'd have to go with the Liederhosen for these reasons......
1 - When you're drinking, inhibition is serioulsy diminished so it's highly unlikely that you'd care that "you're wearing a skirt"
2 - When drinking, I would think that scratching your nutz would be difficult, if not impossible, through that thick leather in the Liederhosen. In a kilt, nut scratching would be very easy. If you're too drunk, then someone else can do it for ya with the greatest of ease.
3 - When you're drinking and you spill something on your kilt, it'll be a lot easier to find a skirt at a store to change into. Liederhosen would be damn near impossible to find at Macy's.
4 - Finally, when you're drinking, and ya gotta take a leak, wearing a kilt would be sooooo much easier to do that. Hell, if you're drunk enough, you don't even have to walk to the head. Just flow frelly my man. Kinda like standing in waist deep water at the sandbar, exceptin a bar you might get noticed standing in a pool of............
Just my thoughts
