Broke the drive shaft - damaged the boat - done for the year.
Other than that it is great.

When your driveshaft broke, did the driveline guard work as it should?

OK here is where I expose myself as a dumb ass.
The driveline guard was off.
The bell housing was cracked and was at the welder's. I was testing new propellers and thought I would gamble 1 time out without it.
Lucky it did not break at the v-drive end.

Lucky you didn't break the big balls. I had a kid throw a ski rope in the bottom once, propshaft coupler grabbed it up and a loop ripped the distributor clean off.

Lucky it did not break at the v-drive end. I will not comment on the "Dumb Ass" part! :D :D But maybe it's time for a solid or greek coupler driveline, yes!.. :rolleyes: :D :D :D
