Who has large dogs preferably labradors and uses doggy boots.
I just had my interior done and would like to keep it in good condtion including the Gel coat. I also do not want to inhibit her swimming in the lake and such.
Who has bought paw pads, the ones at pet smart and such are worthless for a water dog.
thanks.

the booties also work great when it comes to getting off the boat onto hot sand or rocks. they're feet/paws need to be protected from the heat just like our feet do. we used to put cut up washcloths taped on with duct tape before they came out with these nifty velcro on ones. Does the same job, that's all that matters.:D

Maybe he was traumatised by a dog as a child and has recurring flashbacks. He might just need a hug.

I have a 70# golden that goes with us every time. He has never damaged the interior and he has never worn those boots. He has scratched the bow up when jumping out, but now we just lay a wet towel down. The scratches were buffed out though.

We haven't had our Lab in our new boat, but he's always gone with us when we've camped with our last boat. He never caused any scratches that wouldn't come out and never hurt the interior in any way. He's a lap lab and is used to taking it easy on the furniture.
Dogs are cool as long at they listen to thier masters, but if thier master has ADD, then the dogs does too.

We bring our 80pound lab with us a few times a year. We just lay towels down on the interior and hes never wripped anything...
I dont think the booties would last long, he'd chew them up like sausages! :D

Those booties always fall off and get twisted around, at least the ones that I have seen and used. I don't use them, I have not had the upholstery torn or ripped.

It looks like some people on the board do not have enough work or are really really bored.
Anyway you guys are too funny to watch your postings. For those that gave feedback thanks.
It looks like my pooch will be swimming without booties.
thanks.

I have 2 rottweilers both weigh well over 100 lbs and have never had them damge the upholstery in the boat. My wife did want to get the boots for them but I told her they looked rediculous and would rather leave the dogs at home than take them out looking like that.

I think the booties are good for hot docks, then I would take them off in the boat.
