April 26th, 1992, there was a riot on the streets, tell me where were you?
You were sittin' home watchin' your TV, while I was participating in some anarchy.

I had just started dating my wife. I made a lot of river trips that year. I remember making a river trip that year one weekend in February and it was almost 100 degrees out. Good times. Time sure does fly. Can't believe that was ten years ago.

I was a youngster tearing up bars three or four nights a week.
Eating top ramen.
Good times.

Having not watched the news from the night before I was the stupid one to drive into Studio City in the middle of the day, saw smoke plumes all over downtown LA and then dealt with major traffic issues trying to leave. The 405 was 6 or 7 lanes of cars squeezed onto 4 lanes of highway.
Nightmare but a wrothy story for the grandkids.

10 years ago April 3 I had just moved to Vegas that day!. I remember it was warm there, there were no tornadoes, and I liked it a lot. They unloaded my CBR out of the moving truck and I hopped on and just rode for about two hours exploring the area. Wound up riding down to Hoover Dam which I had never seen before..great memories. :)
Then a few years later, for no good reason I can remember, I moved back here to IL were it still sucks unbelieveably, just like it always has.

Thinking about it pretty seriously. I get laid off on the April 28th, so that job won't be keeping me here anymore. Lots of family here though. Still up in the air right now.
I think mostly I was just pissed off last night because I spent half the night in my basement hiding from tornadoes, instead of working on the boat like I had planned.
...Anyway, I'll quit jacking the thread now.

In college with absolutely no idea of what I wanted to do. I was working at Fabtech at the time doing the party thing and also going to every off-road race within 200 miles of here. Had just started going to Havasu and took my dads old boat out (the Green-Go) for a holiday weekend with only lawn chairs as seating. Ask Newcastle and Totally IncapASSitated about that trip good times!
