Hey, Craig & Donnie...figured out all the details I needed & had pleasantcat order my 6-7 lb pulley & longer belt (new intercooler!!!) from Teague on Monday. Stuff should be here friday!! One question...do you know what fittings & sh*t I'll need to plumb the intercooler?? It has none on it right now, but I do have about a mile of braided hose...??

You also need:
blower to inter-cooler gasket,
intercooler to manifold gasket,
a tee if you want to plumb into the seawater line or an offshore pickup,
temporary water pressure gauge to verfiy you don't have over 30# pressure (I have one you can borrow)
two NPT adapters to a/n for water in and out of the intercooler (you can get these local),
You might have to lengthen your fuel line, no big deal. You should have enough slop in your throttle cable to raise it 4 inches.
water dump for intercooler discharge. (That's the fun part, we drill a hole in your boat http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif)
Did the guy you bought the cooler from include the longer mounting bolts/studs?
Roses for the wife when you drop the head off of that exhaust valve because your big foot doesn't know when to lift, OUCH!!!! Just a kidding http://free.***boat.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

dont you want to run your water source seperate from you engine??? i thought if you run water through at low speed you can cause condensation and kabooming ... true or false?? do you think roses will be enough http://free.***boat.net/ubb/wink.gif

Depends. If anything in the bottom end goes then you'll need diamonds too.

That's the theory, though I've never heard of it happening. Donnies runs right off the seawater pump discharge and he's had no problems.

I run mine off of the raw water pump, but I do have a pressure valve in there that does not allow the water thru until 7 pounds of pressure is acheived. When I'm idling there is no water running thru the intercooler.
No problems after a year http://free.***boat.net/ubb/smile.gif
