It's a 496 with an 871, had oval port heads but I'm putting some Merlin 345's on with a bigger cam from Clay Smith, he's going to lean on the heads a little too. It was flattening out at about 80 mph. Shouldn't do THAT anymore though. :D :D :D

bradp,your going to the right guy george will take care of you and knows his shit.ive had three blown motors built by three different guys and have asked a lot of questions on builders.out of all the guys i asked about i could find somebody that had a problem with all of them .but never heard one bad thing about clay smith and was told many times to take my motor there but had to learn the hard way and blow up two motors before i finaly took it to him.

Yeah, a friend of mine put me on restriction and now I'm only allowed to talk to George. I will be assembling it myself thouhgh so I'm sure THAT will create something interesting. :D
