ok , when i bought this motor and took it to my motor shop to tear down i really did not look at everything, i know it was mounted to the back of the motor but not sure to what, help

From the bolt pattern, it looks like it mounts directly to the end of cylinder head. Pretty common way to do it.

do i use any kind of spacer, will it ge to hot going right on the head end cap. i could cut some alum spacers or something. thanks for the advise

I suspect some sort of spacers would be necessary so the mounting hardware for the MSD will clear the head. You should mount the MSD with vibration isolators.

Here's how I did mine. Still have room for a ski tow too if I wanted to put one on. Seems to work pretty good with little vibration and was easy to hide most of the wiring
