Does a 4.5 stroker need a special oil pan? Seems like a regular pan would have clearance for that stroke.......MP

Yes it does. Heck, a 4.25 needs the kick outs most of the time.
Brendellaracin, what kind of boat is this for? V drive or other?

Hey Superdave,
We are building a 526 CI injected on alcohol (Edelbrock tunnel ram w/Enderly bird catcher) It's going in a 78 Brendella 2" runner bottom. We hope to have it all together for CFW Fathers day.
Thanks,

I was thinkin you were a v drive guy. That's why I asked.
So, you not only need a stroker pan, but you now need a stroker V Drive pan.
