Nephew is off to get the race car trailer

My nephew (RCL's son) left with a friend of ours this morning for Franklin TN to get our new race car trailer. Technology is an amazing thing anymore. We put XM radio in the truck before they left so they have tunes and news. I have been tracking their progress on Map Quest. They plan to drive all day and night and get in there about noon tomorrow. Hopefully they will get a room there and then head back early Wednesday morning.
So far only one speeding ticket :) too bad with all that technology they didn't take a radar detector!
It's about 2000 miles one way so they have their work cut out for them.

Lord knows there's enough bar's from Boise to Franklin Tenn. to get a guy in trouble. Actually Rattle Can Lou got all drunked up the other day and said he was going with them.... Imagine the fear I had with that news. That messy, lazy SOB in my totor home for four or five days!
Once he sobored up he realized that he really didn't need a four day nap. Cause that is what it would have been for him.
His son whom you will meet Jan 14th is much different then RCL. He is polite and very level headed. I think he gets it from his mom.

Well here is what happened...
this Lou got a little sh@t faced in McCall Idaho on Tuesday night and left his brief case in the bar. I have a small branch up there (70 Miles north) and had to get back early Thursday morning. So I was unable to retreive my palm pilot with your numbers in it until Saturday morning.
I can tell you we went to the bar for lunch and had to stay long enough for dinner Friday. We did tons of bench racing and making fun of RCL of course.

3:30 Boise time Dave and Rick have left Wildside in Franklin TN and starting back... They drove all day and night to get there by 2:30 today. 30 hours non stop...
Sounds like there headed back to Nashville for a little rest - bed and a nice steak before starting back tomorrow am for a Thursday return.

I spent over 2 years working at Micron in Boise, all the while living in hotels.
ask me about almost any of the Boise area hotels....lol..
I had my boat up there all over Idaho. Even McCall..... and yes, my local
freinds had sleds... my first time doing that, and it's a blast.... One of the
gals had a really nice house (they call it a cabin) in McCall..... spent more
than a few evenings at one of the local watering holes up there. can't
remember the name........ And the winter carnival is a riot... the quad
races through town is the highlight.......... I still have a dock-rub in
the very front of my bow from a dock there... (the girlfriend pulled the
deadman lanyard out my accident, and I hit the dock nose first. pissed
doesn't come close to my feelings.....
so yeah, been sledding in McCall, boating, and drinkin and dancin.........

I really enjoy the truck and trailer. It's pretty fun to get down the road in. The crew loves the back area for laying back watching tv or just plain sleeping. The sad part is its almost too nice... On our way back to town Sunday mornings the crew is sound a sleep most of the way...
The trailer is the new addition to this year. Its a stacker with a lift gate vs last years trailer. How do you think that Nordskog is going to look coming out of the top of the stacker?

Imagine...middle of the night the two boys are gettin' tired...RCL is on his, who knows how many, bottle of Stoli, he's sittin' on the couch in the Toterhome, in his boxers, watchin' a Bonanza rerun without his glasses, so, he's thinkin' it's one of his favorite porn dvd's and the boys upfront in their sleep deprived state figure they're in the middle of nowhere, so they think Rattle Can could handle a hundred miles or so, so there he is, westbound and down, runnin about 85 in Pat's rig, doin' his Smokey and the Bandit thing on the CB..."Yea, Good Buddy, this is the Krylon Kid, you got your ears on??", all of a sudden he see's a sign that says Beaumont, he thinks it says Boise and the boy's wake up a couple hours later and they're in TEXAS!!! Would you trust YOUR rig to this man?? Here's a shot from a red light camera of our boy on the way to a donut shop in Boise.....

All I ever do is try to reach out and share the love. Well, if I can, I might ask for a free bottle once in awhile. My brother instigates this crap and I have about had it with him. I had drawn up some really cool pictures of graphics for the Nordskog so I could give them to Billy. I wanted the boat to come out nice and without ideas Billy is screwed.
