Jet Engine Boat?

was in the Lake Havasu Channel this afternoon only to notice a boat go by with a jet engine powering it. All the peeps in the boat were wearing ear protection. Just wondering if anyone else saw that boat? I was amazed, never seen anything quite like that before...

Here's a photo of that boat with the jet engine. Notice in the back of it the exhaust and the people in the boat with headphones on.

I have not seen that boat. The Lycoming (s) that unit is most likely holstering produces around 1500 HP and weighs as much as a small block. I would guess that boat hauls a$$!

I was at the channel Sunday and saw the boat as well, could not stop looking long enough to take a pic. It sounded pretty rad. You could really feel the heat from the exhaust when it went by. He never did stop to let people check it out, but it was the coolest thing that day. :D :D

ANYTHING OVER 125 DB IS BAD FOR THE EARS AND MOST JETBOATS RUN NEAR THE 180 MARK OR MORE

You going to be in Parker for Memorial Day?
That jet did sound really cool and I was surprised the cops didn't give them trouble. You could hear the jet pretty good but a very different kinda sound than a small or big block boat.

I have seen another one running around. It is a Carrera 28ft Raptor and it has two Jets.
