If you build a cover - make sure it's not fully inclosed as you do not have Marine "stuff" on the engine and it COULD be a fire hazzard .... Leave it open - it's purrrrty here is the one we built for my dads boat - it just goes around the motta - do'nt cover it - just cleans up the clutter :D

I built this one out of aluminum and tubing so we could walk on it - I also left alot of venting - ( i have a 1/2 gap around it on purpose ) and also the blower hole - for ventilations - i also run two air pumps ( blowers ) to keep fumes from acumulating

rmwilki,
Since an Engine cover on that style of Boat would do nothing for its appearance, are you doing it so you can get Liability Ins. ? maybe better to just spend the extra $$$ for "Hot Rod" Ins.
Lucky,
I don't see a Motor Cover in your Pic. (Tarva), just a Pully cover. ??
