View Full Version : Is this all I'll get?

Finally got the procharger on, and the best I can get is 64.8. Stock was 58.9. Mid range is great...a different boat, but it would be nice to get close to 70. Running a 24, tried a 26 but would'nt pull. Going to mojave, for the true test. Is this all I'll get?

what motor, what boost, ect. What drive,who did the set up?What did you use to check MPH? Your numbers are way off.What do you mean it wouldnt pull a 26? What props are you using.Give all the details.

Sorry 24 pitch on the prop, won't pull the 26. Checked with GPS & Radar

are you checking boost in the box or in the intake, make sure you are checking it at the intake. what fuel pressure, pleanty of water through the intercooler? and what total timing. all these will play a roll. if i know some of these details i may be able to help. oh yeah what prop were you running pre procharger and what rpm are you topped out at now

What was your topped out RPM before and after the Pro charger?

before 5000 with a high five 21", after 5000 with the 24"

that is all your going to get wilkes sets it up so it wont hurt the motor only problem is its hard spending 6k to pick up 5mph.

Yeh, I think thats it. Jim does good work but is very conservative. How much does it really hurt if I get the rev-limiter turned up. Hell the 97 350 in the old p/u turned 5400 and sold it with 130k. Plus how do I change it? Thx for all the input!

Plus how do I change it? Thx for all the input! the limiter wouldnt be the problem. if he set it conservative it would be the timing as my best guess. I would talk to Wilkes first though to much timing and it will detonate.
