We're looking at getting my wife a scooter. Gas, "retro" style is what she wants. She only goes 3 miles to work and then back in the afternoon and it's not worth firing up her diesel truck to putz that small of an amount of miles to work.
We've been looking at them on ebay and at the Yamaha store (outrageous prices) and can't really decide what's what. We wish to just have a 50 cc one, that way she won't have to take her motorcycle test and we won't have to register it.
Something styled like this:

this answer on four stroke engines is news to me...
it's question number 15 on the sites FAQ....
Do I need to mix my own oil and gas to fuel the gas motor powered vehicles?
You will need to mix unleaded gasoline and two cycle oil in the indicated ratio to fuel the two stroke gas motor powered vehicles, mopeds and powerboards offered on this site However, the four stroke gas engines in our gas mopeds automatically mix the oil and fuel for you

Thanks. That's pretty funny on mixing gas/oil "on it's own" for a 4 stroke.
Maybe if I coax my boat to do that it will go faster!:D
