Looking for a great camping lake that is in a forrest area. We go on an annual family camping trip to yosemite, and I am looking for a similar wooded area to camp but can also bring my boat for skiing and tubing. prefer a camp that is boat in so it's secluded.
Thanks,

Check out Don Pedro near Sonora. Big lake with boat in camping.

Shaver Lake. We will be there for 4th of July for a week. It's very scenic with towering Ponderosa Pines, Lakeside Boulder formations, and boat-in camping. Also check out Don Pedro, and Lake San Antonio.

Maybe 2.5 miles long. Go to sierramarina.com to see a map and the webcam. Elevation is above 5k. Big campground, not sure about the boat-in thing (never did it..).
