How long of a forward/reverse cable is needed in the 18foot version with a e pump?
13 or 14 feet sound right?

Never mind.:D
Take some rope and try to follow as close to the cable as possible. Use tape if needed to secure to the cable in order to get the most accurate measurement possible.
Or just take the boat in and have them remove the old cable and replace with the appropriate replacement cable.:D
Good luck:)

If it is a morse cable the length should be printed or stamped (i can't remember which) on one of the ends. The last two numbers are the lenght and the first numbers are the cable style.

Duke: i'm not sure about your setup but with my boat, i had to disconnect the cable from the shifter dilio and pull it out from the back of the boat. (standing at the back pulling it thru) It wouldnt fit the otherway..
