hey - I'm looking to buy a new towable for this summer to have fun on. But was looking at catalogs and websites and noticed there are a ton of them available. So..... which ones do you use, recommend. Also, if you can recommend a good place to buy form that would be cool to. Thanks.:)

I say what ever's on sale at Costco that year. I bought my first one (obrien) at Costco for Cheap. lasted 12 years, still have it but it's a bit ratty. Just bought another w/ 3 seats and backrests in a wedge shape and the kids can't wait to get it on the water. It's a $100 less than at the boat shops around here, so that's what drives my decision...

Depends on what you're going for. My buddy has a Super Screamer or something like that. It's better than 6' across, has no hole in the center and flat hauls ass. Couple that with the 20 something foot bungee section in the tow rope and it's on like Donkey Kong. A couple rides on that thing and you're done. :D

I've been on that CostCo 3 seater. It was fun sitting on the outside, going over a small wave, coming down, and watching my 50 pound neice launch into orbit from the other side chair. :D
I don't find it that fun. You can't do anything with it. It's odd to say this but I find a tube more interesting (but just barely).
The kids like it, though. They just don't like it when Uncle Tom rides along. :D

NOthing beats the oBrien U-tube - you throw a few people on it and watcht the good times. ALso, you can chill by your self and still enjoy a beer.

Go outside, steer it into the wake, jump it off the wake, catch some air and the next thing you know you're 4 feet above the water.
So fuggin cool I can't believe it!
