Anybody ever used one of these? Are they pretty strong? My boat is in storage and i'm just looking for little bits that will help. It's only 15 bucks.

Shawn;
We use them on our equipment at work on the job site........We were loosing welders generators all the time.............but not now.
A word of caution.............Don't lose the spare key,we lost one of the keys and had to remove the lock with a torch!

Thanks for the replys.
Another quick Q, you guys think this trailer jack is strong enough for my boat/trailer. 18' AnthonyBT, ~21' Tandom Axle Trailer. This jack says it will hold 800lbs. Me and my buddy can lift the nose of the trailer (with no motor) just bearly so i'm going to assume this one will do just fine. Any objections?

Shaun,
If you roll the trailer around much I would suggest getting the next stoughter jack. You should actually have a little less weight up front with the motor in (depending on placement of the boat on the trailer.) The cheaper jacks just seem to have a lot more flex to them and don't work very smoothly. I threw away my first jack and got the heavy duty single wheel model and am much happier with it.

i dont really plan on moving the boat around much except a few inches forward and back. I dont think moving a tandom axle trailer to the left and right would work very well anyway by hand.
