"The City of Sacramento and the Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau present the 4th Annual Sacramento Bridge-to-Bridge Waterfront Festival, July 24th & 25th on the river in Old Sacramento! The event features time trials with power boats traveling at speeds up to 140 MPH plus sanctioned Cracker Box Boat Races, a cool zone kid’s area, death-defying skydiving stunts from the Red Bull Air Force, wakeboarding, speed & barefoot skiing, food and drink vendors, live music from Rolling Stones and Beatles cover bands and an ice cold beer garden. But the best part is: Admission is FREE."

Gonna see if we can drag the Iceman over there and a few other Hydrs from the Santa Rosa area for Sat or Sun.

We expect to have about 15 Crackerboxes racing... Friday will be NASCAR type qualifying with the top 8 boats competing in a $1000, winner take all, dash for cash. Saturday and Sunday will be a regular points format with two heats, a last chance then a final each day. Should be a great event!
