How is it North of Laughlin? Does it get crazy or is it mellow? Not familiar with that area. Wanna take the little ones out for the 4th of July weekend. Any suggestions? Also are there any fireworks events happening around there?

There's only about a mile of river north of Laughlin bridge, Or are you talking about going out on Lake Mohave?

That's right, there isn't much north of Laughlin. I think you can see the dam from the bridge......Its wide and cold, and there is a campground or park on the AZ side. The other side of the dam is holding back a biiiiig lake. Lake Mohave.

Yes, Im refering to Lake Mojave and anything north of that. Does it get nutz out there or is it cool for the kids? So fire works in Laughlin?

Do yourself a favor... visit Mojave on a quiet weekend. Anything that resmebles a holiday weekend will test your patience at Katherine's Landing. The lake itself is a great time... end of the day sucks

If u wanna live and not have to recover your boat off the bottom of the river then skip the river in laughlin. Every butt-hole and there uncle will be out there on a rented jet ski.....it is a death wish to be out there. The ole-lady works for the boat department at one of the casinos and pulls at least one or two people out from under there dock during that time.
Try Mohave....just make sure to come in early or after dark to avoid the crowds at the ramp.
