6000RPMs_____ JEFF HAS BUILT SOME SMALLER MOTORS FOR A FEW FRIENDS OF HIS. MY BOAT USED TO BE JEFFS SO I TRUST HIS OPINION.

My first run out I had a repitched to 29 Mach sterndriver cleaver. With 5 people and full load of gas and gear it was turning 5100rpm which is where I want to run the rpm. I'm just not sure if the repitched prop is actualy a 29 or more since it started as a 28p. Speedo does'nt work for shit so I'm not real sure on #'s and slip. I,m thinkin could turn a 31 with a lighter load for speed.
Are you guys going to Havasu this weekend? I'm looking for someone with a prop to try out? I plan on hitin the road about 7:30 toninght. Have a place just below the dam on Parker strip.

Hi Faster,
I have a 26AO!, What type of rpm do you want to see? Typically with that Horsepower I have seen more of the 1:36 ratios used.

Fastcats,
I'm running 5200rpm with the Mach cleaver 1.5 ratio. Like I said before I'm not sure of the pitch (29,30,?) Want to stay closer to 5000rpm. Who has tested the cleaver vs bravo on American Offshores 26.

I THINK YOU NEED TO SCRAP THE THE AO AND BUY A DCB WITH TWIN OUTBOARDS. LESS TIME WRENCHING MORE TIME DRINKING UNICUM. TIME BETTER SPENT.
