Lake McClure on Fathers Day Weekend

Has anyone been there? Suggestions please. :cool:

I have been there, but not in 20 years. I did drive up about 6-7 years ago. Great lake, not as big as Don Pedro, but still a good sized lake.
Big enough for house boats.
Hope it gives you some info, I know its not much, cant really tell you if there is much of a party crowd or not!

Nice Lake :)
the McClure Point Campground feels like 1/4 mile above the Waterline (with lake full)
Barrett Cove not as High but not on water either.
both have good Service (fuel & food)
Horseshoe bend up the lake is the Place. its down by the water & on the "Smooth" side of Lake. :)

my friends just came back from up there great family lake wake board or water ski @ any time during the day. water is down close to a 100' or so but great for 23' and under o by the way gas is 3.19 a gallon take pic. for us :D

DAMMMMMM somebody found - MY lake - Have you noticed i've never mantioned it!! Nice lake !0 min. from the house Gas was $3.35 Sun. If you see my boat or a 21' Hallett white with teal --.or people having alot of fun STOP by

What ramp do you use? and since your Local how late in the Summer (on average) can you Launch at Horseshoe Bend?
Yeah McClure's Cool, even Cooler than Don Pedro.

Hi guy: I use Bagby , till its out of water then the two by the dam
What color is the 21' Hallett comming to visit? Our boats are in the bay tied to a houseboat in the 2nd row... you can see them from the Main marina. My Hydrostream may stay at home and the 25' pontoon boat "hauls more beer" its maroon and off white.......Somebody asked if the lake is a party lake -not really- It was when Merele Haggard had his houseboat here! My sons mother lives at Have-a-zoo and we do in fact know what a PARTY LAKE is ...pasties????? You can buy em off a barge...I may be old but I'm not as yet....blind! Lake Mc Clure is as good as ya make...like any other place.....we party like it's may be our last !!! Yeeeee Haaaa and Howdy !!!

so the lake is not good any boats over 23ft???
we will be on a houseboat for 4th of July and was wanting to bring the new boat.
are there speed limits?
is there a noise law enforced?
we will have the ski boat also but have to get the addreniline rush once a day.
what are your guys thoughts, we've never been to this lake
