oil pressure

started up the hallett today the oil pressure was normal . then the oil preeure went to 90 psi
went down got a new sender put it in turned the key on still showing 90 psi with millings oil pump
checked the gage looks ok.thanks for your help.

Sounds like maybe the relief valve in the pump is stuck?? :confused:
Is the pressure stuck at 90 at all times or does it vary with rpm?...

looks like its holding at 90psi even with the
motor off with the key on. thanks.

Look for a short somewhere between the gauge and the sending unit, if you can't find a short, try another guage!. :confused:
