REMEMBER TO SAY THANK YOU !
It is the soldier, not the reporter,
Who has given us the freedom of the press.
It is the soldier, not the poet,
Who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the campus organizer,
Who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.
It is the soldier
Who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag
Who allows the protester to burn the flag.

Unless of course that soldier happens to be John Kerry.
God Bless America and the servicemen and women who keep us free.

Thanks for the post and remember
it's not a Holliday just to get another day off and to barbeque.
It's a day to remember

Already done....Saw a guy with a VFW hat on, then looked closer and saw a Vietnam pin. I thanked him and shook his hand, and could see the typical humble kind of embarrassed look. The biggest thing we all can do to thank our Vets is to fly the American Flag, especially on Memorial Day. They fought for the flag, and displaying the flag is a blanket thank you to all of them. Just make sure you know your flag etiquette.

It is people like you (***boatERS) that make it worth it. PLUS, I LOVE MY JOB!!! Thanks to all the guys and gals over there right now and away from family and friends on this day. If you are checking the forums while you are over there (I know I did), keep your heads up, we got next! :D

Thank you all for what you've done and continue to do.
I've done a lot in my life and I've always been tought to NEVER regret my past. It is afterall what made me who I am and quite frankly, I like me :D
BUT, the one thing that I do regret is never joining the Service. If I could start over in life, that's one detail I'd be happy to complete.
God bless all y'all servicemen and women, retired or not. :D
(I'm thinking we need to get a "thumbs up" smiley on hot boat)
