Seems like I remember those things having the same 440cc 2 banger that the Kawasaki jet skis of that era came with. I saw one on a river once in the mid 80's... Looked interesting but not fast. Maybe 50hp strung out???

Hey, I liked the old Wet Bikes! They required a bit of skill to ride well. The Jet Skies also required skill to stand up and ride well. Today the Wave Runner type units are pretty simple. Not much balance needed, but that may be why they are far more popular.
Out with the old and in with the new, right?
However, the hair on the back of my neck still stands up when bystanders at the boat ramp tell their kids that my boat is just like a jet ski/wave runner. :D

I'd like to see that mini-tug do 50. :D I figured at 50 it would get the thing a little lighter on the trailer...less drag. ;)
